noon.com is the UAE-founded e-commerce marketplace, and every noon seller must be registered as a UAE legal entity with a valid trade license before they can list products. For individuals and small brands, the Dubai E-Trader License is the lowest-cost, fastest way to satisfy noon's onboarding checks — it costs AED 1,716.50 per year under the Online Seller commercial activity (DET code 6312009) and is issued in 1–3 working days.

noon seller onboarding requirements
noon Seller Lab requires a UAE trade license, VAT certificate (if applicable), Emirates ID and a UAE bank account for disbursements. The E-Trader License satisfies the trade-license requirement in full and is accepted by noon's UAE verification team.
Because noon is UAE-headquartered, its onboarding validates the license against DET Dubai and other UAE emirate registries — E-Trader licenses issued by DET Dubai clear this check without issue.
Which E-Trader activity fits noon selling?
For selling physical products on noon.com, the correct DET activity is Online Seller (code 6312009) under the Commercial category (AED 1,370 license fee). This activity is open to all nationalities.
For digital services — design work, coaching, e-books — the Professional activities (AED 1,070) apply. noon Services (home services, tutoring) also accepts Professional licenses.
noon commissions and payout cycle
noon charges a category-based commission (typically 5–15%) plus fulfilment fees if you use noon-fulfilled shipping. Payouts run every 14 days by default and settle to the UAE bank account linked to the license and Emirates ID.
As with Amazon, noon holds payouts if VAT-registration is required but missing. Register for VAT via the FTA portal using your E-Trader License number as soon as taxable turnover approaches AED 375,000 per year.
noon fulfilment vs self-ship
noon Fulfilled: you ship stock to noon's Dubai warehouse and noon handles pick, pack, delivery and returns. Fully compatible with the E-Trader License — the license does not require you to hold a physical warehouse.
Self-Ship: you dispatch each order yourself. Also allowed under E-Trader; deliveries typically go via noon's pickup partners from your registered Dubai address.
